The impact we made

Real women.
Measurable change.

We measure what matters: not just how many women we reach, but whether they leave more confident, more skilled, and closer to their goals. Here's the evidence from our Digital Gateway into Employment programme.

81 women impacted
by our course

Delivered to women managing childcare, caring roles and, for many, English as an additional language. Every completer left with a finished CV, a LinkedIn profile, and job-search skills they didn’t have before.

Our clearest opportunity ahead is retention — earlier learning-plan support and attendance follow-up are the levers to lift this further.

to "more confident"

Confidence is a key outcome across our programmes. Participants reported feeling more prepared to use digital tools, search for employment, access services independently, and take the next step towards their personal goals.

A Story of Confidence and Opportunity

After 11 months out of work, Harooj joined the Digital Gateway into Employment programme to build her digital skills, prepare for interviews, and regain the confidence to return to employment. Today, she works part-time as an NHS Receptionist, showing how the right support can open new opportunities and create lasting change.

“I feel content, I feel happy. Finally, what I’ve learnt has come to use. I’m not just a stay-at-home mum; I’m a mum and I’m working at the same time. I’ve learned that I can do it.”

— Harooj Sana Imam, Digital Gateway Graduate & NHS Receptionist
